The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the West End within walking distance of Theatreland and many tourist attractions, one of which is the British Museum around the corner from the hotel. The nearest underground station is Russell Square just five minutes walk away.

The rooms are tastefully decorated in different colour schemes, they are in very good condition and the rooms at the back are particularly pleasant with views over the hotel's peaceful private gardens. Due to the age of the building the rooms vary greatly in size, but on average they are small. The bathrooms are also in good condition.

Breakfast is served in a light airy room on the lower ground floor which has a conservatory overlooking the gardens, there is also a bistro-style restaurant on the ground floor where guests can take dinner.

The hotel was originally nine Georgian townhouses which have since been joined into one building, though the original facades remain. The small lobby is laid out with marble, the windows and ceiling feature heavy drapes in the same material and there is a beautiful old open fire.

This is a pleasant hotel, situated in the heart of London.
