Overview
3 Star, First Class Traditional Hotel
This hotel is situated in peaceful Leinster Square in the heart of Bayswater, a short walk from Bayswater and Queensway underground stations with their excellent connections to the West End. Hyde Park is also only five minutes walk away.
The rooms vary in size and shape due to the age of the building, but on average they are small. They are in good condition and surprisingly light with pale wood furniture. The bathrooms are also in good condition. Despite being on the lower ground floor, the restaurant is pleasantly light and airy with attractive pillars giving character, and modern, functional furniture.
The hotel is converted from an old row of townhouses, which date back to the Victorian era. The facade is in excellent decorative order, painted in pale yellow. The lobby is small laid out with smokey blue carpets, the walls painted in pale yellow and partly covered in eggshell floral wallpaper. The bar has been redecorated and both areas are bright and elegant.
As a unique feature, this hotel has a concierge that will be most happy to assist guests with any question or demand. On the whole this is a very pleasant clean and well maintained property for its class. Ideal for those looking for a good standard, centrally located hotel but travelling on a limited budget.
